Our Creed |
| Late
night, in the early 1990's, when the parties began to wind down, invariably
the Dwellars would gather in The Cellar for our own version of 'last
call'. The last of the beers were drank and the stereo would play right
up until the last second of quiet hours. The good nights would include
such songs as Billy Joel's "Piano Man" and "Goodnight Saigon" or Pearl
Jam's "Alive" and "Jeremy", and if you walked in, you find anywhere
from 5-20 Dwellars gathered in a circle, singing their drunk asses off.
And then, Metallica released a ballad entitled "Nothing Else Matters. This song is the creed of the Cellar Dwellars. All you have to do is read the words to experience the feeling (or better yet, toss back a few beers with some of your best friends and then put it on. It all will come clear....) Only the best for the best….. |

Metallicaetallica I
never opened myself this way, life is ours, we live it our way,
Trust
I seek, and I find in you, everyday for us something new, I
never cared for what they do, So
close no matter how far, couldn't be much more from the heart,
I
never cared for what they do, I
never opened myself this way, life is ours, we live it our way,
Trust
I seek, and I find in you, everyday for us something new, I
never cared for what they say So
close, no matter how far, |
